2024 Des Plaines Garden Walk

Our Des Plaines Garden Club held their Garden Walk on July 11, 2024

First on the walk was the home of Kathy Ryan

Second was the home of Nancy Degnan

Third was the home of Angela Miraglio

Fourth was the home of Pam Mazzini

The last home on the walk was the home of Alicja Schimka

Our club members then went for Lunch at Mr. Beef & Pizza

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SHARED THEIR GARDENS WITH US. AND TO DONNA MULDERINK FOR ORGANIZING THE DAY

2023 Des Plaines Garden Walk

Our Annual Des Plaines Garden Walk was held Thursday July 13,2023

We visited 6 gardens

Susan Linton Shared her beautiful rock and flower gardens in Mount Prospect, IL

Lana and Rich Gernady were excited to share their award-winning gardens in Morton Grove, IL

We also toured 4 gardens in Des Plaines, IL

who graciously opened their gardens to us.

They were all within walking distance from each other:

* Marion Cosmides

* Debra Lester and

* Barb Dolton

Then our club members had lunch at Mr. Beef in Des Plaines, IL

Our Des Plaines Garden Club’s Fall Luncheon & Fundraiser

Our Annual Fall Luncheon and Fundraiser was a great success with The Basket Raffles. Big board, a Silent Auction, and Bake Sales. This year, we had the addition of a 50/50 raffle, with the proceeds going to our scholarship fund! We had a record of 198 in attendance.
